About Quayside Apartments

Quayside Apartments are family run self-catering apartments, spread over 3 floors, Ground, First and Second, being situated directly on the promenade of the picturesque traditional fishing village of Marsaxlokk Malta. Apartments, originate from a large 19th century house of character, displaying traditional and original features such as wooden beams, stone ceiling slabs (known as 'xorok' in Maltese), heavy wooden ceiling beams, hand painted tiles, large solid steel front door hooks and many other authentic features.

The picturesque fishing village of Marsaxlokk, has to date remained very much unspoiled and natural. With the pleasures of virtually unrestricted parking and an easy & laid back day to day life style. The village is served with daily convenience shops, fish monger, butcher, bakery, pharmacy and various catering establishments. Not forgetting to mention that the tourist information office is directly opposite the apartments along with the Hop on Hop Off Sight Seeing buses.



Amenities

Each apartment enjoys loads of natural light and boasts unobstructed breath taking sea views from all floors. They are a few meters away from the water's edge and a stone throw away from the village centre. All apartments have Smart TV and yet still programmed with a choice of EURO channels (provided by a local cable media provider), a granite or quartz kitchenette top, fridge/freezer, 2 gas hobs, microwave/oven/grill and many other kitchen amenities.

 

Same apartments have interconnecting rooms making it ideal for family holidays or groups of friends travelling together. Each unit consists of: a living room, shower room with continuous hot water supply (since bathrooms are serviced by LPG water heaters), a double or two single beds, sofa bed, wardrobe (with some apartments having a walk-in wardrobe) and common washing facilities (i.e. washing machine & dryer). All apartments boast of air-conditioned bedrooms, heating, Wi-Fi, internet, Smart TV and a safety deposit box; all of which are included in the price. Upon arrival, linen and towels are provided at no additional charge. Apartments are cleaned every week, although cleaning services are available upon request at an additional cost.

The ground floor apartments having their own independent entrance, lead directly to a communal garden with a relaxing patio area, a common charcoal barbecue and plenty of space for young ones to enjoy themselves while adults can sit back, relax and enjoy basking in the sun even in winter times. Considering that the average yearly temperature is around 23°C (73°F) during the day and 16°C (61°F) at night and that Malta enjoys one of the most optimal number of hours of daylight in Europe; the garden, patio and barbecue area will surely be of a great asset to many staying at Quayside Apartments.


While, the first floor units enjoy the use of the same communal garden they have the added feature of a front balcony overlooking the promenade, ideal for sipping wine or a cool glass of local bear and watching life go day.


The second floor hosts two 2 bedroom penthouses which are self contained and in addition to the amenities enjoyed by the other apartments, each penthouse has its own BBQ, 5 person Jacuzzi , indoor and outdoor dining in the large front terrace overlooking the harbour, sunbathing area and laundry facility.
